I Love Gossiping About Other People, Don't You?

Let's face it, people love to gossip and judge people.

For some people it's becoming a bad habit, and they can't get through the day without talking about someone else's faults. We love talking about other people, especially celebrities. That's why Perez Hilton's Blog is such a success.  How many times have you heard that Kim Kardashian has a big booty?

Isn't it one of the 10 Commandments, thou shall not talk about Kim Kardashian's ass. I mean, thou shall not judge other people.

Judging has to be one of the most challenging commandments of them all. I find it hard to follow this rule, as a blogger.  That's what we do, we talk about and judge other people.

We are all born flawed, the flaw being Pride. We're all in some sense conceited, selfish, envious, self-centred, egotistical and vain. Yes, I'm talking about you, not just me. We all struggle with it throughout our lives to some degree. It's called being human and sometimes its even expected.

Turn on TV, listen to a talk show, go for lunch with your co-workers. All you will hear is a bunch of people complaining, bitching, judging and even condemning, this or that. Subliminally, we are being bombarded with it at work, at play and at home. It has become a sport of sorts.

Luckily, we have the ability to make choices. People that work on their own flaws instead of wasting time talking about other people's flaws are more successful in handling their own pride.

I'm trying to hold my tongue.
